Pump Applications:

Mono Pumps are generally used for pumping high abrasive materials such as slurry and cement 

 

 Original Materials:

The screw segments are manufactured from stainless steel, overlayed with hard chrome and finish machined.

 

Problem:

As a result of  the corrosive and abrasive environment in which they perform the screws suffer corrosion beneath the chrome layer due to its porous nature.
Solution:

The chrome can be replaced with a porous free coating with high wear and corrosion resistant properties
